Selecting Horse Fence
It is essential to select the right enclosure to contain your horse effectively and reduce the risk of a serious or fatal injury. The best equestrian fence is constructed of mesh, which is made by weaving wire into specific spacing and using knots to secure the wire intersections. The design is extremely important, as the wires provide the basis for strength, stability and security. Mesh openings should be small enough to prevent a horse from getting its hoof caught and stop it from climbing on the fence or stepping down on the line wires, which could result in collapse or structure failure. Another important benefit of close spacing is deterring predators from entering a pasture or corral. Wire mesh fence is woven in a pattern of rectangular or triangular shapes that are too small to catch a hoof and are galvanized to stand up to the elements. It will also keep pets and small animals in or out of a pasture, feature good linear strength, and is flexible and easy to maintain.

Non-climb Horse Fence
Construction
Our Non-Climb fence is made by weaving wire into a grid pattern and securing it with our Square Deal® Knot. The wire knot hugs both vertical and horizontal wires tightly, so the fence will not sag or buckle.
Spacing
Constructed with 2" x 4" spacing between the vertical and horizontal wires, the small openings prevent hooves from getting caught. The tight mesh also restricts horses from climbing up the fence and deters unwanted animals from entering the enclosure.
Wire
Non-Climb is built to withstand weathering and everyday wear and tear. The line wires feature 12-½ gauge, galvanized steel, and the top and bottom lines are fortified with 10 gauge wire. For even greater life expectancy, Non-Climb is available in Class 3 galvanization.
Safety, Security & Durability
The tight wire mesh prevents injury from impact, as the fence will flex rather than break. Horses can't climb up or step through the openings, so hooves and legs are protected. And, the knots won't move, so predators can't push through the fence.
Application
Non-Climb Horse Fence can be used for a variety of species besides horses, including llama, donkeys, sheep, goats and dogs. The flexible construction of Non-Climb fence makes it a good choice for rolling hills or uneven terrain.

V-Mesh Horse Fence
Spacing
13 line wires from top to bottom are evenly spaced 4" apart. The vertical wires are securely wrapped around each horizontal cable, running diagonally to make a diamond, or 'v' pattern. This mesh design creates the tightest weave possible.
Wire
Keepsafe® V-Mesh Horse Fence is made with 100% American-made wire. The Class 1 galvanized coating helps prevent rust or corrosion for long-lasting performance. A Class 3 galvanized coating is also available and will further increase the longevity of the fence.
Safety, Security & Durability
The twisted horizontal cables and tight v-mesh weave provide the strongest and safest construction available. The fence will give and then spring back into shape when pressured, preventing injury or fence failure. In addition, unwanted animals can't penetrate the
rigid enclosure.
Application
V-mesh can be used to contain a variety of animals beside horses. Consider using this fence for sheep & goats, dogs, alpaca, and other valuable livestock. Because it holds up to heavy pressure, Keepsafe® is particularly suitable for small pastures and paddocks.
